三源麻轮厂是坐落在著名瓷都－中国潮州。也是拥有五百多年的生产胶柏之乡(胶柏是古代制作鞋底，帽舌等生活用品，解放后随着国内抛光技术的逐步进展，村民开始用缝布机把一张张胶柏钉成一片布轮，胶柏也慢慢广泛被各地研磨客商前来采购，1989年金欧村开始生产剑麻轮，同时三源也是当地规模较大生产家)－金欧村。潮汕地区最早做麻轮的村庄，在国内以至世界都是一个较早研磨材料生产基地。
    03年胶柏被潮州电视台报道后，即刻轰动了世界各地的潮人潮商们，在此之后时隔数月都会有世界各地的游人来采购商前来光临惠顾，村民说："胶柏其实没什么，就是用一层层的布用胶水粘起来"，三源也因此次报道后也响誉国内各研磨商家。
